Давний спор между соседями о том по чьему берегу реки должна проходить
граница, уже давно грозил перейти в конфликт. Было много встреч,
переговоров, но все попытки уладить спор мирным путем не к чему не
приводили. Никто ни хотел уступать и, в конце концов, терпение одного
из королей лопнуло. Со стороны северного королевства в сторону южного
был предъявлен ультиматум - либо река и все острова на ней признаются
владениями
северного королевства, либо начнется война. Однако угрозы не подействовали, и по всей
территории южного королевства была немедленно объявлена мобилизация.
Война неизбежна и теперь только сильнейший сможет отстоять свое право на владение этими землями.

Into exile you went. Your children were sold into slavery, and your wife is dead. War can do horrible things to civilians.
You ran for days, and after crossing a massive lake, you discovered
that the land you ran into was no different than the land you left.
Your pursuers might be on chasing you still, so you must keep running,
but in order to do that you will have to defeat the warmongers in this
area.
Sometimes... fighting is inevitable.

One
of the grandest geographical landmarks of the ancient world is also
home to a variety of races, and cultures. Gracious lords and kings seek
defend their kingdoms, as others seek to dominate the entire region.
The age of war is upon the kingdoms, and heroes must use every tool at
their disposal to win.
As generals depart for the fight, war advisors counsel to check
frequently local taverns for clues of mythical items. Legends tell of
ancient artifacts and relics of the past, long rumored to be hidden in
these lands which may now turn the tides of war.
